Your first visit is a consultation with Dr. Chu. He reviews your health history, performs a thorough examination, and takes any x-rays or 3D scans needed, then tells you what he recommends and why. It’s important to him that he understands your concerns. Call 760-952-1900 to set up a consultation.
We have a cone beam CT scanner here. If you need a 3D scan, it is usually taken during your visit, so you don’t have to make a separate trip. Dr. Chu uses it to check the bone and the position of nerves before surgery.
We offer local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and general anesthesia, all here in our office. Dr. Chu will go over which option fits your procedure. Read about patient comfort
If your dentist referred you, Dr. Chu coordinates with them about the surgical part of your care. That way the plan fits the work they will do afterward.
